During bedtime reading one night, I came across the captivating story of the “tomb of worriors” in the necropolis of Eleftherna, where the excavation is still in progress and the archaeologists found 480 vases, weapons and the trench of the warriors killed during battle.

8 Μαρτιου, Ημερα της Γυναικας 2020. Να την κανουμε σημαντικη.

Διαβάζοντας ένα βράδυ, έφτασα στην μαγευτική ιστορία του Τάφου των Πολεμιστών στην Ελεύθερνα Κρήτης. Το 2010 οι αρχαιολόγοι βρήκαν 480 αγγεία, όπλα και έναν ασύλλητο τάφο μέσα στον οποίο υπήρχαν τα οστά ενός νεαρού ζευγαριού (μάλλον ήταν αδέλφια) και η κάπα που τους σκεπαζε αποτελούμενη από 3000 φύλλα χρυσού!
