Hand painted floral theme on solid Greek white marble with natural crystalline. The piece forms a roughly cut trapezium panel.
Gold pastes in different shades and ceramic colour have been used to embellish the drawing.
The word “marble” derives from the Greek word “marmaron” which means crystalline, sparkling stone. The rock is naturally formed over thousands of years, recrystallising its original carbonate mineral grains. The resulting marble rock is typically composed of an interlocking mosaic of carbonate crystals and this is what makes each piece so unique.
