The call of the “golden city”!
This triangular plate is part of “Mycenae”, a collection of objects inspired by Mycenaean art. The design comes from a 16 cent. BC silver pin with gold head in the shape of a bare-breasted female deity.
Her hands are open to greet the sun and to welcome life and she is crowned by papyrus flowers.
Glass triangular trinket dish with curved edges, dyed in opaque white with hand painted relief motif in gold shade. It looks great on a stand too!
