“As you start to walk on the way, the way appears” – Rumi

Well, I was feeling uncertain. Frankly speaking, there have been already many times in my life I took risks and decisions without having the privilege of overseeing a clear path ahead.

No regrets, although I have not always been successful. Sometimes, following defeat, counting the knowledge and experience gained was not good enough to heal my wounds.

But, going forward, it is of no doubt that this is how I progressed and made possible to follow my dreams and build my castles. I had no evidence, not even a mere aspiration that I could go any further than my back yard when I started painting and crafting my glass objects, giving room to the creativity nested inside me.

Yet, as I started to walk on the way, the way appeared, as Rumi said, taking me a bit further and making me happier, wiser and better every day.

So, it is such an honour to place my handmade candle holders at the Benaki Museum, following their idea to work on motifs from the Museum’s extraordinary art collections!
